VIEW WOOD NEWS | Oak trees that have been buried in peat bogs and lakes for hundreds to thousands of years are preserved from decay, while acidic conditions react with the tannins in the wood to produce a distinct dark brown to black color, replicated in this WonderWood.
WonderWood wallcoverings have a markedly consistent wood grain pattern, ideal for projects where a more uniform look is desired. The veneers are reconstituted from high yield, rapid-growing species sourced from sustainable tree farms that preserve the natural ecosystem. Offered in two-foot wide standard sheets by eight- or ten-foot heights, these wood veneer wallcoverings can be specified with a flat ultra or matte lacquer finish.
