Crane’s Mill in West Caldwell, NJ is a life-plan community with a thriving resident population, but its two aging Independent Living buildings increasingly failed to reflect the vitality of its occupants. KDA Architects was also challenged to enhance common spaces and help residents with wayfinding, as both buildings have extensive corridor lengths. KDA turned to Wolf-Gordon to assist with creating striking life-size murals printed on RAMPART, which were positioned along key points of the corridors. These beautiful art pieces work in harmony with the surrounding finishes while also providing protection against walker and wheelchair strikes.

Bright and cheery custom artwork printed on RAMPART helps patients, families, and staff navigate the high-traffic areas of this rehabilitation center. Schopfer Architects chose RAMPART for its flexibility and durability, its ability to stand up to heavy traffic and strikes from medical equipment, and to take advantage of its digital printing capabilities.

Kaiser Permanente Walnut Creek Medical Center

Kaiser Permanente and the design team at Ratcliff Architects wanted to update the lobby and patient rooms of this medical center to current Kaiser design standards, which call for PVC free products. Previously, this site used a semi-rigid faux wood product, but these inflexible panels included PVC. Ratcliff found what they needed in PVC-free RAMPART Resolve Inyo. RAMPART Resolve’s flexibility enabled them to wrap existing walls without trim or filler, creating the look of solid wood. The ease of installation and ability to cut around existing wall items also made Inyo the perfect choice for the headboard walls in patient rooms.

Eaton High School was looking for a design that would celebrate past and present students—and be durable enough to inspire future generations of kids. Cost-effective and durable RAMPART is a beautiful and long-lasting backdrop for student success.

Dunkin’ Restaurant

To appeal to an “on-the-go” next-generation customer, Dunkin’ Donuts began remodeling its ubiquitous stores as well as simplifying its name to “Dunkin’,” beginning in January 2019. Looking to move away from rigid panels and chair rails with a cost-effective, long-lasting wall protection product, The Dunkin’ Brands Group selected RAMPART® Foundation. Meeting their goal for a simple, clean, and contemporary aesthetic, the “Stone” colorway will cover walls, floor to ceiling. In some locations, RAMPART may even be installed over ceramic tile by first applying Stronghold® wall liner.
