Cavan
At an ancient site in eastern Turkey, a piece of 9,000 year old linen cloth was found, presumed to have been wrapped around the handle of a bone tool to offer a better grip.
This rudimentary fabric was probably produced on a crude loom of only four sticks.
The course dry-spun linen yarn and traditional, flat-woven technique used for Cavan is reminiscent of this ancient material, and is available in five natural colorways.
