Palazzo (Digitally printed)

Palazzo is part of the "Out of the Archive" collection. This wallcovering is digitally printed and available for color, scale, and substrate customization. The pattern can also be translated to rotogravure printing for larger orders. Please contact your Account Executive or email [email protected] for details.

Named for the architectural style influenced by palaces built during the Italian Renaissance, this damask pattern maintains much of the structure of the wallpaper design it was based on. Its use of acanthus leaves as an ornamental feature has a long, varied history dating back to 5th century BC Greece. However, using curly-headed leaves as a repeating motif became most popular in the Renaissance era, which continues in its prevalence to this day. When reimagining Palazzo for today’s interiors, it was translated into a large-scale damask with a faux distressed-finish look.
