Introducing Criss Cross and Color Craft, two new upholstery textiles designed by Dorothy Cosonas exclusively for Wolf-Gordon. These two high-performance textiles — one coated, one woven — were developed after Cosonas, alongside the WG Design Studio, took a deep dive into Wolf-Gordon’s upholstery offerings. After thoroughly reviewing the existing products, Cosonas saw an opportunity to energize the line with bright bursts of color.
Color Craft, Cosonas’ new woven upholstery, features a playful multicolored check. Each of the pattern’s nine colorways features six contrasting and coordinating colors in its weft. Checks alternate between a tabby weave and basket weave structure, adding small-scale detail and major textural interest. Color Craft, which is composed of 75% post-consumer recycled polyester, is high-performing and highly colorful; it features a Nanotex® stain-resistant finish and impressive abrasion resistance.
Criss Cross, like Color Craft, also iterates on a grid pattern. This coated upholstery pattern features an undulating linear grid; the narrow lines of this grid have a striking hand-drawn look. Thanks to the density of these lines, Criss Cross’s five colorways appear as saturated fields of color from afar and as a loose, casual plaid up close, adding visual interest to any interior seating application. Criss Cross is also bleach-cleanable, extremely abrasion-resistant, and printed with solvent-free inks.
Criss Cross and Color Craft are perfect for bringing a pop of color into even the most heavily trafficked interiors.
